On the surface this seems to make sense, but it does not work for my use case. I have a channel that a bot unhides for 1 hour each day. The channels collection includes all channels in a guild even those that the user can't normally "see." There's nothing that can be done besides making sure unwanted roles don't have the read messages perm and nothing revealing is in the topic. So the "hacker" could give himself a role with access to the hidden channels and then remove the role again. We found this in the audit log of the server.

It's true BetterDiscord made this plugin. This isn't really that big of an issue unless you're hiding things in channel names or topics, which you shouldn't be. Discord sends all channels to clients, and since it has been this way for years, I doubt they're going to change anything. Hello!
